Guides

Guides are organized by the task a contributor wants to complete, rather than by distribution name:

  • Recommended repository workflow: combine repository policy, local gates, commits, pull requests, CI, proposals, and Agent guidance.
  • Commits: select a profile, create an interactive commit, and validate messages.
  • Message checks: check titles, full commit messages, and pull-request bodies.
  • Proposals: configure and validate durable design records and deterministic indexes.
  • Proposal writing: research choices and describe a reviewable decision without changing repository governance.
  • Repository proposal skills: adapt the writing method to local policy, agent discovery, and validation.
  • Project evolution: initialize, list, and check project intent and dated changes.

Use the CLI reference when you already know the workflow and need the exact command surface.
